Thankful for WHAT?

, Has what you are thankful for changed over the years? I have found that as my life moves in the direction of bliss, what I am thankful for changes. Not long ago I was thankful that Tom and I had good jobs, we could pay our bills, eat well and have fun money left over. When the kids were growing up things were a bit more desperate. In those days I was thankful for a car that ran, a job I hated and that the kids were healthy, ate every day and had clothes to wear. Along the way I learned some things that changed me in a profound way. Today I am thankful for those things because my life is once again my own. I learned that life can't be put off until later. That what you desire you deserve to have. That you can have what ever it is that you want, it is never to late. That in order for your life to change, to get what you want, you must do something different. I learned that there is no such thing as safe.
